CHARACTERISTICS: ER309L is a premium austenitic stainless steel welding wire. Crafted to perfection, the weld metal boasts an impressive ferrite content, ensuring exceptional crack resistance. With its superior alloy composition, it offers outstanding heat resistance, making it an ideal choice for demanding environments.
APPLICATION :The ER309L welding wire, formulated with 22%Cr-12%Ni steel, is meticulously designed for joining ferrite to austenite stainless steel. It excels in service temperatures up to 300°C. Perfect for heat-resistant cast steel clad sides of 18% Cr-8% Ni clad steel, it seamlessly connects stainless steel to Cr-Mo steel or even carbon steel.
SHIELDING GAS: Achieve optimal welding results with 100% Argon (Ar) gas or a precise Ar+2%O2 gas mixture, ensuring stability and precision.
