ER410NiMo
Description: ER410NiMo is the quintessential choice for welding both cast and wrought materials that share this unique chemical composition. To ensure optimal results, it is recommended to maintain preheating and inter-pass temperatures at a minimum of 150ºC (300ºF)
during the welding process. It's crucial that post-weld heat treatment temperatures do not surpass 620ºC(1150ºF), as higher temperatures may induce unwanted hardening. The inclusion of extra low carbon significantly enhances crack resistance and increases ductility compared to standard 410 filler metal, guaranteeing superior weld integrity.

Application: This versatile welding rod shines in applications such as welding, repairing, and overlaying type 410 and 410NiMo castings and wrought materials. It is particularly valued in the hydropower industry for its remarkable ability to withstand erosion and corrosion. Additional uses include vital components like valves, valve seating surfaces, gears, propeller shafts, and impellers. Thanks to its low carbon content, ER410NiMo boasts superior weldability compared to conventional ER410.

NOTE: The mechanical properties highlighted below are achieved by employing a post-weld heat treatment within the range of 590
ºC(1100ºF) and 620ºC(1150ºF) for a duration of 1 hour, ensuring the best possible performance.
