Product Description

ER410NiMo
Description: Our premium ER 410NiMo is meticulously designed for welding both cast and wrought materials with comparable chemical compositions. To achieve optimal results, it's recommended to maintain preheating and inter-pass temperatures of no less than 150ºC (300ºF)
. During the welding process, it is crucial to ensure that post-weld heat treatment temperatures do not exceed 620ºC (1150ºF) to prevent hardening. The incorporation of extra low carbon significantly enhances resistance to cracking and improves ductility compared to standard 410 filler metals.

Application: This versatile welding wire is ideal for a variety of uses such as welding, repairing, and overlaying type 410 and 410NiMo castings and wrought materials. Notably, it is employed in the hydropower sector to effectively combat erosion-corrosion. Other notable applications include the welding of valves, valve seating surfaces, gears, propeller shafts, and impellers. Due to its low carbon content, ER410NiMo offers superior weldability compared to ER410.

NOTE: The mechanical properties outlined below are based on the post-weld heat treatment conducted between 590
ºC (1100ºF) and 620ºC (1150ºF) over a duration of 1 hour to achieve desired results.
