Product Description

ER410NiMo
Description: Introducing the ER 410NiMo welding wire, engineered for the seamless fusion of cast and wrought materials sharing its unique chemical blueprint. It is imperative to maintain preheating and inter-pass temperatures at a minimum of 150ºC (300ºF)
during the welding process. Post-weld heat treatment should not surpass 620ºC(1150ºF) as exceeding these temperatures may induce hardening effects. The incorporation of extra low carbon elevates this wire's ability to resist cracks and enhances its ductility beyond that of standard 410 filler metals.

Application: This versatile wire finds its prime utility in the welding, repairing, and overlaying tasks of type 410 and 410NiMo castings and wrought materials. In the hydropower sector, it stands as a stalwart against erosion-corrosion challenges. This wire proves essential for diverse welding applications such as valves, valve seating surfaces, gear mechanisms, propeller shafts, and impellers. Notably, ER410NiMo exhibits superior weldability compared to ER410, owing to its reduced carbon content.

NOTE: The mechanical properties outlined herein are contingent upon the implementation of post-weld heat treatment executed between 590
ºC(1100ºF) and 620ºC(1150ºF) maintained for a duration of 1 hour.
