Attention:
(1) To prevent any unwanted porosity, ensure thorough removal of grease and rust from the parent metal's surface before beginning the welding process.
(2) This wire is softer compared to solid wire, hence the pressure roller of the wire feeding device should not be tightened excessively.
Characteristic and Application:
The E71T-GS is a versatile self-shielded flux-cored wire (DCRP), perfectly engineered for all position welding. It offers weld metal with impressive low-temperature toughness and excellent crack resistance, suitable for both single pass and multi-pass welding applications.
E71T-GS is a self-protection flux-cored welding wire,designed for DC reverse connection (not suitable for DC positive connection),making it ideal for welding in any position.The deposited metal features remarkable low-temperature toughness and resistance to cracking,enabling efficient single pass and multi-pass welding.
Note:
To effectively prevent the formation of pores, ensure that grease and rust are meticulously cleaned from the base metal surface prior to welding.
The E71T-GS wire is inherently more pliable,requiring that the feeding device's pressure roller is adjusted to avoid being overly tight.
Utilize DCRP welding.
