Product Description

ER410NiMo
Description: Crafted with precision, ER 410NiIMo is expertly designed for welding cast and wrought materials of similar chemical composition. To ensure optimal results, it is recommended to maintain preheating and inter-pass temperatures of at least 150ºC (300ºF)
during welding. Note that post-weld heat treatment should not surpass 620ºC(1150ºF), as exceeding these temperatures may lead to hardening. The extra low carbon content enhances protection against cracking and increases ductility compared to traditional 410 filler metals.

Application: This versatile welding wire is ideal for various applications, including welding, repairing, and overlaying type 410 and 410NiMo castings and wrought materials. In the hydropower sector, it is used to resist erosion-corrosion. Other key applications encompass valves, valve seating surfaces, gears, propeller shafts, and impellers. Thanks to its low carbon content, ER410NiMo offers superior weldability over standard ER410.

NOTE: The mechanical properties detailed below are achieved through post-weld heat treatment conducted between 590
ºC(1100ºF) and 620ºC(1150ºF) for a duration of 1 hour, highlighting the product's excellence.
