Product Description

ER410NiMo
Description: The extraordinary ER 410NiIMo is meticulously crafted to weld both cast and wrought materials sharing a similar chemical composition. To ensure optimal results, it is highly recommended to maintain preheating and inter-pass temperatures of no less than 150ºC (300ºF),
while the post-weld heat treatment temperatures should not surpass 620ºC(1150ºF). Exceeding these temperatures may result in unwanted hardening. The innovative low carbon content greatly enhances crack resistance and boosts ductility, providing superior performance compared to standard 410 filler metals.

Application: This versatile rod finds its applications in welding, repairing, and overlaying type 410 and 410NiMo castings and wrought materials. Its remarkable properties make it a staple in the hydropower industry, efficiently battling erosion-corrosion. It is also ideal for welding valves, valve seating surfaces, gears, propeller shafts, and impellers, where it outperforms standard ER410 with superior weldability due to its reduced carbon content.

NOTE: The mechanical properties detailed below are based on employing a post-weld heat treatment ranging between 590
ºC(1100ºF) and 620ºC(1150ºF) for a duration of 1 hour.
