ER410NiMo
Description: Discover the unparalleled excellence of ER 410NiIMo, expertly crafted for welding both cast and wrought materials with matching chemical compositions. To achieve optimal results, ensure preheating and inter-pass temperatures do not fall below 150ºC (300ºF).
For best outcomes, maintain post-weld heat treatment temperatures not exceeding 620ºC(1150ºF), as higher temperatures may lead to unwanted hardening. The inclusion of extra low carbon enhances crack resistance and boosts ductility compared to traditional 410 filler metals.

Application: Designed for versatility and strength, ER410NiMo is perfect for welding, repairing, and overlaying type 410 and 410NiMo castings and wrought materials. Its superior performance shines in the hydropower sector, effectively combating erosion-corrosion. Additional applications encompass valves, valve seat surfaces, gears, propeller shafts, and impellers. Notably, ER410NiMo offers improved weldability over standard ER410, thanks to its low carbon content.

NOTE: The mechanical properties specified below are based on post-weld heat treatments applied between 590ºC(1100ºF) and 620ºC(1150ºF) for a duration of 1 hour.
