Product Description

ER410NiMo
Description: The ER410NiMo welding wire, renowned for its impeccable quality, is predominantly employed for welding cast and wrought materials that share a similar chemical makeup. To ensure optimal results, it is essential to maintain preheating and inter-pass temperatures at no less than 150ºC (300ºF)
during welding. For post-weld heat treatment, temperatures should not surpass 620ºC(1150ºF) to avoid hardening. The extra-low carbon content of this wire provides superior crack resistance and enhanced ductility compared to standard 410 filler metal.

Application: This versatile welding wire is ideal for projects involving the welding, repairing, and overlaying of type 410 and 410NiMo cast and wrought materials. Its exceptional performance in the hydropower industry aids in mitigating erosion-corrosion. Additionally, this wire is employed in welding applications including valves, valve seating surfaces, gears, propeller shafts, and impellers. Its low carbon content gives ER410NiMo superior weldability over conventional ER410.

NOTE: The mechanical properties indicated below are based on post-weld heat treatment conducted between 590
ºC(1100ºF) and 620ºC(1150ºF) sustained for 1 hour.
