Product Description

ER410NiMo
Description: The ER 410NiIMo is a specialized welding wire meticulously crafted for uniting cast and wrought materials sharing a similar chemical structure. To ensure impeccable welding outcomes, it is crucial to maintain a preheating and inter-pass temperature of no less than 150ºC (300ºF).
During welding, it is advisable that the post-weld heat treatment temperature should remain below 620ºC(1150ºF), as exceeding this threshold may cause hardening. The extra low carbon content offers superior defense against cracking and enhances ductility compared to standard 410 filler metals.

Application: This versatile wire finds its use in a myriad of applications such as welding, repairing, and overlaying of 410 and 410NiMo casting and wrought materials. It holds a pivotal role in the hydropower industry, effectively counteracting erosion-corrosion. Additional applications span across valves, valve seating surfaces, gears, propeller shafts, and impellers. Notably, the ER410NiMo boasts enhanced weldability over the traditional ER410 due to its reduced carbon content.

NOTE: The mechanical properties detailed below are derived from utilizing post-weld heat treatment within the range of 590
ºC(1100ºF) and 620ºC(1150ºF) sustained for a duration of 1 hour.
