ER410NiMo
Description: Discover the exceptional ER 410NiMo, expertly crafted for superior welding performance. This specialized wire is primarily utilized for uniting both cast and wrought materials that share a similar chemical composition. Ensure optimal results by maintaining preheating and inter-pass temperatures at a minimum of 150ºC (300ºF)
throughout the welding process. It is crucial to manage post-weld heat treatment temperatures, which should not surpass 620ºC(1150ºF) to avoid hardening. The incorporation of extra-low carbon content enhances protection against cracking and significantly boosts ductility over the standard 410 filler metal.

Application: ER 410NiMo finds its niche in various applications, excelling in welding, repairing, and overlaying type 410 and 410NiMo casting and wrought materials. This wire is particularly esteemed in the hydropower industry as a formidable opponent to erosion and corrosion. Moreover, its versatility extends to other welding applications such as valves, valve seating surfaces, gears, propeller shafts, and impellers. Notably, ER410 offers superior weldability compared to traditional ER410, owing to its reduced carbon content.

NOTE: The mechanical properties outlined below correspond to the post-weld heat treatment process conducted between a precise temperature range of 590
ºC(1100ºF) and 620ºC(1150ºF) sustained for an hour, ensuring enhanced material performance.
