Product Description

ER410NiMo
Description: Discover the exceptional capabilities of our ER410NiIMo welding wire, ideally crafted to join cast and wrought materials with a similar chemical composition. To ensure optimal performance, a preheating and inter-pass temperature of no less than 150ºC (300ºF)
is recommended during the welding process. For post-weld heat treatment, keep the temperature below 620ºC(1150ºF). Exceeding this threshold may cause hardening, yet the extra low carbon content ensures superior crack resistance and enhanced ductility compared to traditional 410 filler metals.

Application: This versatile filler wire is perfect for welding, repairing, and overlaying type 410 and 410NiMo castings and wrought materials. It serves a critical role in the hydropower industry, effectively combating erosion-corrosion. Additionally, it is used in the repair and manufacturing of valves, valve seating surfaces, gears, propeller shafts, and impellers. Thanks to its low carbon content, ER410NiMo offers significantly better weldability than its standard counterpart.

NOTE: The mechanical properties listed below have been optimized with a post-weld heat treatment performed between 590
ºC(1100ºF) and 620ºC(1150ºF) for a duration of 1 hour, achieving exceptional results.
