Product Description

ER410NiMo
Description: The ER410NiMo is a specialized welding wire, expertly crafted to seamlessly join cast and wrought materials that share a similar chemical profile. To ensure optimal results, it is imperative to maintain preheating and inter-pass temperatures at no less than 150ºC (300ºF).
During the welding process, it is advisable to keep the post-weld heat treatment temperature under 620ºC(1150ºF) to prevent hardening, which could compromise the integrity of the weld. The incorporation of extra low carbon content in this wire provides enhanced protection against cracks, significantly improving ductility compared to standard 410 filler metal.

Application: Ideal for a multitude of applications, this exceptional welding wire is perfect for welding, repairing, and overlaying type 410 and 410NiMo castings and wrought materials. In the hydropower industry, it effectively combats erosion-corrosion. Its versatility extends to welding applications for valves, valve seating surfaces, gears, propeller shafts, and impellers. Notably, ER410NiMo offers superior weldability over traditional ER410, thanks to its beneficial low carbon content.

NOTE: The mechanical properties outlined below assume the use of post-weld heat treatment temperatures ranging from 590
ºC(1100ºF) to 620ºC(1150ºF) with a duration of 1 hour, ensuring the desired performance and integrity of the weld.
