APPLICATIONS
ER 385 (904L) is specifically engineered for welding materials of similar chemical composition. Perfect for the fabrication of equipment and vessels designed to handle sulfuric acid and a variety of chloride-containing media, this filler metal shines where exceptional corrosion resistance is required. It is also ideal for joining Type 317L material, giving you improved resistance in specific environments. To combat fissuring and hot cracking, this alloy maintains low levels of carbon, silicon, and phosphorus, ensuring superior quality and durability.
