CHARACTERISTICS : ER307 is a manganese-austenitic stainless steel grade meticulously engineered for applications demanding exceptional toughness and crack resistance. Ideally suited for MIG, TIG, and SAW welding processes, this advanced welding wire features an elevated silicon content that enhances weld flow, facilitating optimal weldability while delivering exceptionally smooth and flawless weld beads.
APPLICATION : ER 307 is the premium solution for welding tasks in challenging environments that require cladding of hardenable steels, armor plates, austenitic stainless steels, manganese wear steels, and heat-resisting steels up to 850°C. This versatile grade excels in hard-facing applications involving hot work steel, stainless valve steel, and carbon steel components, offering superior abrasion resistance and unparalleled corrosion protection.
SHIELDING GAS : Achieve optimal welding results by utilizing either 100% Argon gas or a sophisticated blend of Argon with 2% Oxygen gas.
